At the hearing, activist Atai Beishenbek confirmed that the publication reposted by Mamyrkulova is his authorship. This publication became the basis for the conclusion of the forensic linguistic examination, where its content was assessed as containing signs of "inciting interethnic hatred." Beishenbek also clarified that this is not the only post of his regarding the Kyrgyz-Tajik border that was published in 2022.
It was also planned to interrogate linguistic expert Abdykojoev, but he did not appear at the hearing.
Mamyrkulova's defense filed a motion to involve additional witnesses among activists for the next court session, and the court granted this request.
The next hearing is scheduled for January 19.
As a reminder, the October Court previously sentenced Kanyshai Mamyrkulova to six years of conditional imprisonment with a probation period of four years. She was found guilty under the articles "Calls for mass riots" and "Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, or interregional hostility" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the serving of her sentence, she is prohibited from leaving her home from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and from posting on social media.
