A resident of the capital, Habibi Ulanova, filed a complaint against Motuev, accusing him of defamation.
The court found Nurlan guilty under Article 107¹, Part 2 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to defamation, specifically the dissemination of knowingly false information that tarnishes the honor and dignity of others. As a result, Motuev was fined 20,000 soms.
Ulanova is also pursuing legal action against her former civil husband, Mirbek Miyarov, who previously held the position of government representative in the Chui region. Additionally, she reported to the police, after which a criminal case was initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning bigamy and polygamy. The case is currently under consideration in the Oktyabrsky District Court.
