The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) uncovered the fact of illegal withdrawal of budget funds. Over six months, I.V.B., who previously held the position of chief accountant of the Sokuluk branch of OJSC 'Kyrgyz Post', embezzled 15 million soms, as reported by representatives of the agency's press service.
From August 2025 to January 2026, taking advantage of her official position, she transferred funds to her personal bank account.
Law enforcement agencies noted that a portion of the embezzled money was directed towards the purchase of real estate in the resort area of Issyk-Kul region.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is currently underway.
