The criminal deceitfully acquired 38 thousand dollars and 100 thousand soms
A citizen of Azerbaijan has been detained in Bishkek on suspicion of fraud. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to information from law enforcement agencies, the detainee posed as an employee of the GKNB and offered his "services" to local residents, for which he took money. As a result of his actions, damage amounting to 38 thousand dollars and 100 thousand soms was caused.
The suspect, known by the initials A.S., became the subject of investigative activities that led to his identification. In this regard, a criminal case of large-scale fraud has been initiated.
In one of the episodes, he promised a woman from Kyrgyzstan to free her son, who was held in the pre-trial detention center SIZO-1, and took 24 thousand dollars and 100 thousand soms for this.
Additionally, in September 2025, he deceived another citizen by offering to organize the delivery of Vietnamese workers for a sewing production, which earned him 14 thousand dollars.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. The GKNB urges anyone who may have fallen victim to the actions of this fraudster to contact the duty service of the agency in Bishkek at the phone number: 0312 88 83 52.
