A video appeared on social media showing a woman displaying signs of abuse and accusing her husband of beating her.
Information about the incident was received by the police on March 25 at 16:30.
During the preliminary investigation, a 28-year-old man, I.A., born in 1995, was brought to the police station. A protocol was drawn up against him under Article 70 ("Domestic Violence") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. The court sentenced the man to 7 days in custody.
The woman, a victim of the violence, refused to file a complaint or undergo an examination.
