The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a new regulation concerning the Unified Register of Offenses. This decision was made to implement Article 55 of the Code of Offenses.

According to the new regulation, the register will serve to account for cases of offenses that are examined by various state bodies, including ministries, committees, and administrative agencies, as well as local self-government bodies. All specified structures are required to adapt their decisions to the new requirements and take the necessary steps to implement this regulation.

It is noted that the authorized bodies will be responsible for preparing journals, accounting books, and other necessary documents for maintaining the register within the available budgetary funds. The General Prosecutor's Office is also instructed to align its decisions with the new rules.

With the adoption of the new regulation, several previous government decisions concerning the maintenance of the Unified Register of Offenses and the functioning of the automated information system, which were adopted in 2018-2021, have been repealed.

The new norm will come into effect seven days after its official publication.
