According to the proposal, it is planned to prohibit the movement of motorcycles in specially protected natural areas, as well as in park-beach and water protection zones and along bodies of water.
These measures are aimed at protecting the ecosystem, preventing damage to natural landscapes, and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
However, the restrictions will not apply in certain cases. In particular, motorcycles:
- with electric drive up to four kilowatts, used by local residents for household needs;
- used in official, search and rescue, and firefighting operations;
- participating in scientific research and cultural events with the approval of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision;
- in transitional and rehabilitation zones of biosphere territories;
- on sections of highways passing through specially protected natural areas.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision has been tasked with conducting explanatory work with the population and tourism operators, as well as carrying out regular monitoring of compliance with the established norms.
