According to the resolution initiated by the city administration on December 9 and 11, 2025, the deputies based their decision on Article 7 of the law "On Geographical Names in the Kyrgyz Republic" and the current regulations approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on March 25, 2025, under number 149. As a result, the city council agreed to rename and assign the following names:
– Akmatbay Ata Street, located west of the Ch. Aitmatov Alley, will be named after Chyngyz Aitmatov;
– the unnamed street located east of the village of Baktyu-Dolonotu will be named "Baktyu-Dolonotu."
Additionally, the deputies approved the name "Akyilman" for the new kindergarten built in microdistrict No. 2 of the city of Cholpon-Ata.
The city administration is tasked with taking the necessary actions to implement this resolution.
