On the air of Birinchi Radio, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Zainidin Kurmanov shared his opinion on the foreign policy course of Kyrgyzstan.
He noted that the country's foreign policy has always been characterized by multi-vectorism and balance, which makes it effective for Kyrgyzstan given its size. Kurmanov emphasized that no radical changes are observed in this area: while domestic policy undergoes changes, foreign policy remains peaceful and friendly, aimed at developing relations with neighbors and international partners.
The expert also reminded that over the 35 years of the new Kyrgyz state’s existence, the concept of foreign policy has changed only three times.
“Moreover, the changes were not as radical as in larger countries. We adjusted and clarified certain aspects, rather than rewriting everything from scratch. This confirms the stability of our foreign policy,” he added.
