The transformation of the historic building "Ai-Pery" in Bishkek has been completed, turning it from a dilapidated state into a modern office center. This was reported by the city's mayor, Aibek Junushaliev, in one of his interviews.

The building was previously used as a household services complex, where various enterprises operated, but over time they closed down, and the building fell into disrepair.

"When the building was abandoned, investors showed no interest in restoring it. Small shops and canteens began to open around it, which contributed to the loss of the building's historical appearance. Since 2024, active work has begun in Bishkek to attract investments. A Vietnamese company became the investor, purchasing the former 'Ak-Kula' racetrack for 5.8 billion soms, and then the 'Ai-Pery' building," the mayor said.

He added that after the acquisition, the parties agreed on the necessity to preserve the historical appearance of the building, resulting in extensive renovation work. The architectural features and mosaics from previous times were carefully restored.

"Now this building adds aesthetic value to the city and is equipped with modern technologies," noted Aibek Junushaliev.

It is also reported that the Vietnamese company plans to build a multifunctional residential complex on the site of the 'Ak-Kula' racetrack.

"This project is one of the key ones for the city. As part of the construction of the multifunctional residential complex, up to 30% of the territory will be allocated for green areas. Investors plan to invest more than 30 million dollars. The implementation of this project will have a significant impact on the economy of the capital. Work is also underway to modernize the urban infrastructure. The multifunctional residential complex project is expected to be completed by 2028-2030. As for the 'Ai-Pery' building, it has fully transitioned into the ownership of the company, and in the future, the investor may continue the renovation and construction of modern facilities. Currently, the building features layouts and concepts for future residential projects," the mayor reported.

In conclusion, the chairman of the cabinet of ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, visited the new office center in Bishkek.

He familiarized himself with the conditions created after the reconstruction of the business center, as well as the innovations applied in organizing modern office spaces.

During the visit, information was presented about the functional capabilities of the center and its significance for the development of the business potential of the capital.
