Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev, who also holds the position of Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, familiarized himself with the project of an alternative road to Manas International Airport.
During a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Communications Abasattar Syrgabaev and representatives of relevant agencies, the goals, technical parameters, and key stages of the project implementation were discussed.
According to the plan, a four-lane road 17 kilometers long will be built, starting from the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Boulevard. The project also includes the creation of a two-level transport interchange, installation of lighting, and landscaping of the area.
The next stage involves research and design work.
In addition, the possibility of constructing a two-lane road and a bridge 8.7 kilometers long between the villages of Mramornoye and Vinogradnoye in the Chui region is being considered.
The implementation of this project aims to reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, improve transport infrastructure, and develop interregional connections.
