The mayor noted that this route will become an important international transport corridor, which will help reduce the load on existing routes and provide convenient access to the airport.
According to the mayor, extending the new road to Profsoyuznaya Street will significantly improve connectivity between districts and reduce congestion on the existing highway. He also mentioned that the project had been postponed multiple times in the past, raising concerns among local residents regarding its implementation.
Aibek Junushaliev added that work is currently ongoing actively:
- the project documentation has been completed;
- cost estimates have been prepared;
- the Ministry of Transport has taken the project into development and included it in the construction plan.
The mayor assured that the road construction will be completed and it will become a significant part of the capital's transport infrastructure.
