The president signed a decree regarding this initiative
The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, announced the launch of a temporary national program aimed at the free replacement of driver's licenses issued previously without an expiration date. This information was announced by the president's press service.
The campaign started on January 15 and will continue until a decision is made by the authorized state body.
As part of the program, old driver's licenses will be exchanged for new ones that meet established standards.
The administration emphasized that a medical certificate in the form of 083 is not required for the replacement, except for those individuals who are obtaining a driver's license for the first time.
The process of document replacement is organized by the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, which is subordinate to the Presidential Administration. The funding for the issuance and registration of licenses is provided from the center's own resources. The work on the personalization of documents within the framework of the campaign will be carried out by employees of the state institution "Kyzmat."
