A round table titled "Muratbek Imanaliev: Professional Path and Contribution to the Development of SCO" was attended by high-ranking representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats, scholars, veterans of foreign policy service, and close associates of the jubilarian.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeenbek Kulubaev, highlighted Muratbek Imanaliev in his video address as the "patriarch of Kyrgyz diplomacy," who created the first professional team in independent Kyrgyzstan in 1991.
Deputy Minister Almaz Imangaziev emphasized that thanks to Imanaliev's efforts, the country gained international recognition and became a member of the UN. The rector of the Diplomatic Academy, Ruslan Rakhimov, also noted the importance of the jubilarian's contribution to the formation of the national diplomatic school.
Congratulations to the jubilarian were sent by leaders of international organizations: the secretaries-general of the SCO, Nurlan Ermekbaev, CSTO, Taalatbek Masadykov, and CIS, Sergey Lebedev, who emphasized his role in the development of regional cooperation.
The dean of the diplomatic corps, the ambassador of Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan, Nazirmad Alizoda, also congratulated Muratbek Imanaliev on behalf of all diplomats.
One of the key moments of the event was the presentation of a named scholarship in honor of Muratbek Imanaliev to international relations students. Guests were presented with a photo exhibition showcasing important milestones in his career—from Minister of Foreign Affairs to head of the SCO.
Participants of the meeting noted that Muratbek Imanaliev remains an outstanding figure in the history of Kyrgyz diplomacy, and his experience continues to influence the development of the country's foreign policy.
