
She urged law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation to clarify all the details of the incident and to ensure the protection of the rights of the children left without a mother, as well as to provide them with the necessary social assistance.
According to the local department of internal affairs, the teenager is 16 weeks pregnant, which became known through information from the hospital. On the evening of February 25, the mother and daughter were taken to the police, however, the woman refused to be interrogated and went outside for water. The interrogation of the teenager was conducted with the participation of a family and child protection specialist.
Unfortunately, the mother committed self-immolation in the parking lot of the police department and subsequently died in the hospital from her injuries.

After receiving information about the tragic incident, the authorized representative of the akiykatchi in the Issyk-Kul region began work to protect the rights of the children, in cooperation with other regional authorities.
On February 26, staff from the institute visited the children to assess their condition and needs.
The family living in the Ak-Suu district consists of several children. The girl, who is the eldest, studies at a vocational college, while her two younger sisters are 15 and 6 years old, and her brother is 14 years old.
The family was registered as low-income, and since 2018, their mother had been receiving child benefits. According to local authorities, last year, with the help of charitable foundations, a house was built for the family. Additionally, the village council provided financial assistance, as the woman was raising the children alone after the divorce.
Currently, the children are under the care of their aunt, and the issue of establishing official guardianship will be considered soon. The pregnant minor also remains with relatives.
The police are conducting an investigation based on witness testimonies.
