Representatives of the district leadership, local institutions and enterprises, as well as residents actively participated in this event. During the cooking of sümölök, national melodies and good wishes were heard.
The next day, March 21, an official event dedicated to Nowruz took place in front of the Ton district state administration building. The purpose of this event was to celebrate national traditions and strengthen unity among the people, as well as to joyfully welcome spring.
In the ceremonial part of the event, district leaders, local institution employees, veterans, and many villagers were present. During the official program, some local residents received awards.
As part of the celebration, a "Yurt Inspection" competition took place, reflecting national traditions, as well as an exhibition-competition of national dishes, where each village region presented its unique features. Participants paid attention to the decoration of yurts, the placement of national items, and the arrangement of the dastorkon. The best participants were identified based on the competition results and were awarded.
The district culture department also presented a concert program featuring folk songs, national dances, and theatrical performances. Both young talents and experienced artists showcased their skills.
During the celebration, various sports games and national competitions were held, including tug-of-war and other interesting contests, with winners receiving gifts. Both youth and representatives of the older generation actively participated in these events.
