In Naryn Region, 18 new cases of HIV infection were identified, three among foreigners
As of today, 18 new cases of HIV infection have been identified in the Naryn region, three of which involve foreign citizens. According to information presented at the regional board meeting, the first case of AIDS was recorded in the region in 2005. Since then, 316 patients have been registered, of which 80, unfortunately, have passed away. Among people living with HIV, 64.3% are men and 36% are women.
