He noted that he had raised this issue previously, and in response to one of his speeches, he received an official letter from the Department of Tourism. This letter indicated that the development of the region is planned for a short term until 2030 and for a longer term until 2040.
However, according to Uzakbaev, this approach does not satisfy him.
The deputy emphasized that waiting for decades is unacceptable and urged the government and relevant state bodies to expedite the resolution of this issue.
He stated that local entrepreneurs have already begun taking active steps: they are developing the area, building campsites and other tourist facilities, but without government support, the potential of the Suusamyr region remains untapped.
