On November 27, the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic officially opened the country's participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) titled "Tourism on the Silk Road."

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Kyrgyzstan has participated in this exhibition annually since 1995. At the national stand, visitors can see 10 tourism companies from the country, the city administration of Karakol, and two tourist locations in the Issyk-Kul region. Eight more Kyrgyz tour operators are also involved in the exhibition. TITF-2025 will run until November 29.

According to official data, tourists from Uzbekistan rank first among foreign guests visiting Kyrgyzstan this year, making the country's participation in TITF-2025 particularly significant.

The main focus at the national stand and among representatives of the Department of Tourism is on showcasing Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential, as well as promoting tour packages to the most popular destinations in the country. B2B meetings with foreign partners are being held as part of the exhibition.

This year, Tashkent features an updated design of the Kyrgyz pavilion, which facilitates more effective interaction with international participants.

In addition to the exhibition events, an extensive business program is taking place, including a tourism forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the "Central Asia - European Union" forum, as well as aviation and educational forums and panel discussions on key trends and innovations in the tourism sector. Special attention is being paid to creating a unified tourism space for Central Asian countries.

The award ceremony for the Silk Road Tourism Awards will take place on the last day of the fair.

The Department of Tourism expressed gratitude to UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic for its support in developing the tourism sector, as well as to the State Enterprise "Tourism Development Support Fund in the KR" for the technical assistance provided. ```
