
Furthermore, the ministry emphasized that the EU had previously expressed its intention to develop a strategic partnership with Central Asia and support the socio-economic development of the region. In this context, the Kyrgyz side expressed its desire for equal, mutually respectful, and trusting cooperation with the EU and its member states.
It was reported that "such an approach would lead to more mutually beneficial results than unilateral sanction pressure."
The Kyrgyz Republic officially proposed to the European Union to initiate an independent audit that would be internationally recognized and would allow for the verification of actual circumstances to ensure that the restrictive measures are based on reliable data.
Additionally, the Kyrgyz side proposed to create a joint technical working group of Kyrgyzstan – European Union for regular information exchange, transaction monitoring, and joint risk assessment.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that such a format of cooperation would help strengthen trust and allow for effective resolution of emerging issues without the application of unilateral sanction measures.
