Today, the People's Kurultai plays a key role in ensuring public participation, establishing a direct link between citizens and state structures. This opinion was expressed by Tilek Usupov, a delegate of all three kurultais and the head of the public fund "Tilekmat-Ake," in an interview with the editorial office of vb.kg.
According to Usupov, the People's Kurultai is not just a gathering, but a unique platform where the voices of citizens are heard directly, without intermediaries. He emphasized that the kurultai does not duplicate the functions of the Jogorku Kenesh but fulfills its important task by allowing the president to report to the people through their representatives.
Usupov noted that the value of the Kurultai lies in the fact that delegates from different corners of the country raise the pressing issues of residents in remote regions.
“The president listens carefully to everyone. This means that the opinions of ordinary people become part of the state agenda, and this distinguishes the People's Kurultai from other institutions,” he added.
The head of the public fund also noted that under the management of Myktybek Abdyldaev, who heads the Secretariat of the People's Kurultai, the work of the structure has become more organized and transparent.
According to him, the elections of delegates are held without conflicts and discontent, which indicates trust in the process. “Myktybek Abdyldaev has demonstrated his honesty and responsibility as a deputy and continues to adhere to these principles in his role as the head of the kurultai. His competence and openness are his distinguishing features,” Usupov emphasized.
He also noted that it is currently extremely important for delegates to support the president's course aimed at the country's progress.
“We are witnessing positive changes: the construction of roads, the creation of jobs, the opening of schools and hospitals. Therefore, we must actively participate in these changes,” Usupov added.
Tilek Usupov has been elected as a delegate of the People's Kurultai for the fourth consecutive year and continues to actively defend the interests of residents in the regions.
The fourth People's Kurultai will take place on December 25 of this year and, according to Usupov, will be another step towards strengthening public dialogue in our country.
