The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of the Minister of Energy, Taalaibek Ibraev, regarding the call from the State Enterprise "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" for the population to switch to the "Unlimited Tariff" for electricity. This was reported by the press secretary of the head of state, Askat Alagozov, on his social media page.
Japarov emphasized that such proposals are unacceptable in conditions of electricity shortages and could provoke social stratification in society.
The head of state also ordered the immediate cancellation of this tariff and the implementation of necessary measures to ensure equal access for citizens to electricity during the winter period, as noted by Alagozov.
