The Commission of Commissioners for Children's Rights of the CIS Countries Took Place in Minsk

A commission of child rights commissioners from CIS countries was held in Minsk


In the capital of Belarus, Minsk, the sixth meeting of the Commission of Child Rights Commissioners representing the CIS member states took place, as reported by the press service of Bishkek.

Members of the commission, as well as representatives of state institutions and ombudsman offices from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, participated in the meeting, alongside representatives from the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Victoria Mozgacheva, represented the city administration at this important event.

The discussion at the meeting focused on pressing issues such as child begging and homelessness, the development of family-based care for orphans and children without parental care. Issues related to organizing recreation and rehabilitation for children, including the protection of their rights and working with minors in conflict with the law, were also addressed.
