"See with the Heart"

"Spring will come, but I will not see it"
Once, while traveling in distant lands, a wanderer met a blind old man. The old man was sitting by the road, begging for alms from passersby. A sign hung on the old man's chest that read: "Give to the blind man."
— I have nothing to give you, father, but perhaps I can help in another way. How much money do people give you in a day? – asked the traveler of the old man.
— By evening, I collect five or six coins in my bag; this is enough for a night's lodging and a meager dinner.
Then the traveler took the sign, wrote something on it, and said:
— From this day on, show people the other side of the sign. Let them read what I wrote there.
Then he left.
After some time, finding himself in that area again, the traveler saw the blind old man once more and greeted him:
— How are you, father?
Recognizing the traveler's voice, the old man grabbed his hand and, pressing it tightly to his chest, began to thank him.
— After you changed the inscription on my sign, my situation immediately improved. Now I can afford a more dignified life. Tell me, how can I repay you?
— I need nothing from you, father. Just tell me, how much do you receive now? - asked the traveler.
— After our meeting, I collect fifty coins in my bag each day. I can only guess what words could change people's consciousness. Tell me, what did you write on my sign?
— It says: "Spring will come, but I will not see it." Most of those who pass by this road are luckier than you. I simply helped them remember that.
