A meeting with parents and school directors on adolescent safety was held in Bishkek.

On February 25, a meeting organized by the city administration took place in Bishkek, involving parents and school directors from the Lenin and Oktyabr districts. This event was held at the Main Department of Internal Affairs and focused on issues of minor safety, as reported by the press service of the city administration.

Among the participants were Bishkek's vice-mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva, the director of the Department of Education Rakhmat Musaev, as well as representatives from the Main Department of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor's office, and the Drug Control Service.

During the meeting, participants were able to visit the situational center of the Main Department of Internal Affairs, where they were shown the operation of the 24-hour video surveillance system. Parents and heads of educational institutions were demonstrated how the center ensures public safety and responds promptly to threats concerning the safety of minors.

Law enforcement representatives discussed preventive measures against offenses among teenagers and their work in combating drug trafficking. Participants were also shown video materials used in preventive talks with school students.

A psychologist from school No. 89 shared information about the characteristic features of adolescence, the risks faced by students, and effective methods of interaction with them in the educational environment. During the meeting, parents were able to ask their questions and receive answers.

The city administration emphasized the importance of such events for uniting the efforts of local authorities, law enforcement agencies, and the parental community in addressing issues of crime prevention among youth. Work in this direction will continue on a regular basis.
