In 2025, 139 Violations Were Identified in the Protected Natural Areas of Kyrgyzstan

In 2025, 139 cases of violations of environmental protection norms were identified in specially protected natural areas of Kyrgyzstan. The total damage from these actions amounted to 1 million 105 thousand 789 soms, as reported by the press service of the country's Ministry of Nature.

Among the violations:

- fines were imposed in 54 cases for a total of 399 thousand 500 soms;

- lawsuits were filed in 119 cases for a total of 706 thousand 289 soms.

The violations were distributed across various types of natural resources:

- Water resources – 7 cases for a total of 62 thousand 370 soms;

- Land resources – 20 cases for a total of 457 thousand 825 soms;

- Plant life – 98 cases for a total of 460 thousand 324 soms;

- Animal life – 14 cases for a total of 125 thousand 270 soms.

As a result of the review of the materials, 78 cases were resolved for a total of 578 thousand 224 soms.

Currently, 61 cases for a total of 527 thousand 565 soms are under consideration by the authorities responsible for specially protected natural areas.
