“Last year, 8,932 legal entities with foreign founders were registered in Russia. Currently, there are 66,202 firms operating in the country with foreign investments,” Rusprofile reported.
The largest number of new organizations is being opened by entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and China. Roman Koposov, Deputy Director of the strategic consulting company "ARB Pro," noted that after the departure of Western businessmen, "windows of opportunity" have emerged in the Russian market, which are quickly being filled by entrepreneurs from friendly countries.
“It should also be taken into account that there has been a realignment of logistics chains and financial flows. Businesses require new delivery routes, trading houses, as well as service and warehouse organizations,” he added.
