Evgenia Lushikhina has passed away. She dedicated her life to the revival of sheep breeding in Kyrgyzstan.

In Kyrgyz science, an irreplaceable loss has occurred. Evgenia Mikhailovna Lushikhina (07.04.1940 - 29.01.2026), a professor and doctor of agricultural sciences, is known as a symbol of the revival of sheep farming in the country.

In one of her last interviews, she posed the question: "Why did my family dedicate their lives to this?" The answer now lies with us: to preserve her legacy, restore the system she dreamed of, and protect our pastures — the best way to honor the memory of the scientist.

May Evgenia Mikhailovna Lushikhina rest in peace. Her name will remain in the history of Kyrgyz sheep farming.
