In the coming years, the United States intends to strengthen its economic influence in Central Asia. This was announced by the U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, during the B5+1 forum held in Bishkek.

Gor emphasized that this region has once again become an important part of U.S. foreign economic policy since Donald Trump came to power. "The main driver of cooperation will be the private sector, rather than intergovernmental agreements," he added.

Key areas of cooperation include e-commerce, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, agriculture, and the development of transportation infrastructure. According to him, the U.S. government plans to actively support American companies operating in this region to minimize investment risks.
