According to information published in "Kommersant," in 2025, Kyrgyzstan found itself among the leading countries importing Russian petroleum products.

This year, the main export destinations were Mongolia (820 thousand tons), Uzbekistan (510 thousand tons), Kyrgyzstan (526 thousand tons), and Tajikistan (406 thousand tons).

Sources from "Kommersant" report that the total volume of oil refining in Russia in 2025 decreased by 1.7% compared to the previous year, amounting to 262.3 million tons, which is attributed to unscheduled shutdowns at oil refineries.
