According to the Ministry of Finance, during 2025, the country's budget received 3 billion 927 million 308.7 thousand soms, which is equivalent to $44.8 million. The main sources of these revenues were the sale of vodka, which brought in 2 billion 736.3 million soms, as well as packaged beer with 786.1 million soms and cognac, which amounted to 182.8 million soms.

It should be noted that in 2023, a law was passed in Kyrgyzstan prohibiting the production and import of unmarked beer products classified under the TNVED code 2203, as well as prohibiting the circulation of all unmarked beer products within the country. In 2022, a state monopoly was also introduced on the production, import, storage, and sale of ethyl alcohol.
