Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress under the "Government Accelerators" program, completing the implementation of 12 key reforms by 2025. The results of the two most important logistics projects were announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev. One of the main achievements was the introduction of radical changes in the digitalization of the permitting system for road transport to the People's Republic of China.
Previously, the process of obtaining permits required a personal visit to the Ministry of Transport and could take up to 24 hours due to bureaucratic delays. However, with the introduction of the e-Permit system and integration with the "Tündük" platform, carriers can now submit applications and pay for services online through electronic wallets. This has significantly reduced the time to obtain permits to 10 minutes, which is critical given the annual exchange of 130,000 forms.
Additionally, a long-standing issue of transport control at the EAEU borders has been resolved. Due to the lack of data exchange between partner states, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs often faced the necessity of providing documents in paper format, leading to delays in queues. Within 100 days, the relevant authorities managed to integrate their information systems, automate processes, and introduce electronic issuance of permits for cabotage transportation. These actions helped eliminate administrative barriers and significantly speed up the border crossing process for Kyrgyz logistics companies.
