Capital repairs are also being performed on water distribution facilities: trees that obstruct water flow are being cut down, and silt and debris are being removed.
Preparation for spring irrigation began back in October 2025. Since then, special machinery has been brought in for the mechanical cleaning of the canals, and concrete lining work is also underway. All work is scheduled to be completed in March, after which irrigation water will be supplied to farmers.
At present, cleaning and repairs are being conducted on such canals as "Aravan–Ak-Buura," "Kairma," "Zhany," "Zhoobas," "Zhekelik," "Uvam," "Muyan," and "Southern."
