Amangeldiev noted that cooperation with Shirshov began during the leadership of Akylbek Japarov. Despite the absence of an official position, his contribution to the work of the Cabinet of Ministers remains significant.
Additionally, Amangeldiev reported that the process of returning Maxim Bakiev's assets in Spain is underway, partly due to efforts to recover the company "Elkat."
The First Deputy Chairman of the Government also emphasized that Kamchybek Tashiev, the former head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), was aware of the assistance from Shirshov and supported this cooperation.
Recently, a meeting took place in Moscow, which was attended by the Minister of Energy of Russia, Sergey Tsivilev, Daniyar Amangeldiev, and the Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev. Among the participants was also Alexey Shirshov, who is reported to be well-informed about the hydropower plant construction project and is providing assistance regarding Kyrgyzstan's debt to the Russian company.
Previously, the press service of the president, headed by Daiyrbek Orunbekov, confirmed that the return of the company "Elkat" became possible thanks to the testimony of Alexey Shirshov.
