The Development Bank of the Russian Federation finances the construction of six hydropower plants and one solar power plant.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance, OJSC "State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic" is allocating funding for the construction of six hydroelectric power stations and one solar power station.

The total investment in these projects amounts to 21.6 billion soms. The installed capacity of these facilities will be 148.3 megawatts, and the expected annual electricity generation will reach 629.7 million kilowatt-hours.

According to representatives of the ministry, the implementation of these projects will reduce the current electricity deficit in the country by approximately 16 percent and improve the reliability of the national energy system.

In addition, the Ministry of Finance noted that the projects will create new jobs, increase tax revenues, and contribute to infrastructure development, including roads and power transmission lines.

"The development of renewable energy sources will also help reduce carbon emissions and expand irrigation opportunities in agriculture," the ministry added.
