According to the information from the directorate's press service, the investment in the renovation of the "Sayakat" complex is being made by a Russian company and amounts to about $5 million. The complete renovation of the "Dostuk" hotel will require investments ranging from $15 to $25 million.
The reconstruction includes a complete update of the engineering infrastructure: power supply, water supply, and sewage systems. The facades, roof, and interior spaces will also be renovated, and the heating system will be modernized.
During the reconstruction period, the "Dostuk" hotel is closed to visitors. The investor, in turn, has committed to paying an annual rent of 40.8 million soms, which will subsequently increase to 80.58 million soms starting from the fourth quarter of 2027, and then to 100.9 million soms per year from 2029 to 2049.
The press service also noted that after the transfer of the "Dostuk" hotel to the management of the directorate, 35.59% of the shares, which were previously owned by a private shareholder, were returned.
