To prepare and organize the VI World Nomad Games, scheduled for 2026, the republic will allocate 147.5 million soms. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The majority of the allocated funds will be directed towards infrastructure development and improving breeding in horse breeding. In particular, the "State Holding for Breeding Horse Industry" plans to purchase 14 breeding stallions and mares of English and Russian trotting breeds. A budget of 32.8 million soms has been allocated for this purchase.
Additionally, 91.2 million soms will be directed towards the technical modernization of facilities: upgrading stables, sports arenas, and riding halls, as well as creating tracks and ensuring veterinary and medical services during the Games. The remaining 23.5 million soms will be used for administrative needs and salaries for staff involved in organizing this large-scale ethno-sporting event.
