At the checkpoint "Kyzyl-Kiya" of the Batken Department of the Chemicalization and Plant Protection, on February 23, during the phytosanitary inspection, an issue with the labeling of the seedling packaging was discovered.
According to the resolution of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council, adopted on November 30, 2016 (No. 157), each package of quarantine products must contain labeling with information about the product name, country of origin, as well as the exporting and/or re-exporting country.
The absence of such labeling constitutes a violation of the general phytosanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was the reason for the return of the cargo back to the importing country.
