Participants in the event included the chairman of the city council Bolot Bayetov, the first deputy mayor Omorbek Torobaev, deputies, heads of local institutions and enterprises, as well as representatives of public and non-governmental organizations, activists, and local residents.
The main expenditures of the budget will be directed towards public services, defense, economic issues, housing and communal services, sports, culture, education, and social protection.
During the discussion, city residents and activists proposed several initiatives aimed at improving conditions for people with disabilities, increasing funding for social protection, and developing infrastructure in the "Alai-1" and "Alai-2" districts.
Issues were also discussed regarding the simplification of co-financing projects for rural administrations, optimizing public transport routes, ensuring stable electricity supply, repairing internal roads, and improving the ecological situation in the southern capital.
