Export of limestone-shell rock banned from Kyrgyzstan

A temporary ban on the export of limestone-shell rock beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union has been established in Kyrgyzstan for a period of six months. This was reported by the government press service.


The ban applies to limestone-shell rock that was extracted or produced in the country, as well as to unprocessed, roughly crushed, and cut into rectangular and square blocks or slabs (codes 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0 according to the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature).


The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, signed the relevant document.


Government agencies have been instructed to take necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of this product.
