At a press conference held at the "Kabar" agency, the head of the coordination department of the EAEU at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Elimbek Kanybek uulu, announced new tariff benefits that will be in effect until the end of 2026. These measures pertain to certain categories of beef.
According to Kanybek uulu, the benefit applies to products classified under the EAEU HS codes: 0202301004 (hindquarters of beef, boneless, frozen), 0202305004 (forequarters of beef, boneless, frozen), and 0202309004 (other parts of beef, boneless, frozen). The import volume for these categories is set at 5,000 tons, and due to the adopted decision, the import customs duty has been reduced from 15% to 0%.

According to the information, a similar benefit is applicable to the import of cocoa butter, which will also be in effect until December 31, 2028. Each year, it is planned to import 300 tons of this product into Kyrgyzstan under the EAEU HS code 1804 000 000.
Furthermore, Kyrgyzstan is provided with benefits for the import of raw cane sugar. The exemption from customs duties applies to a volume of 20,000 tons and will be in effect until the end of 2026.
Elimbek Kanybek uulu also noted that the EEC Council approved the extension of tariff benefits for turboprop civil passenger aircraft for Kyrgyzstan until December 31, 2028, with the possibility of importing 2 units.
He added that this decision is aimed at updating the fleet of aviation equipment and expanding the network of regional air transportation, including both domestic routes and routes between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
