The Chinese company has increased its investment to 193.7 million dollars
The National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan reported that China Petrol Company Junda plans to complete the modernization of its oil refinery "Junda" by July 31, 2026.
The funding for this project has been increased by the Chinese investor to 193.7 million dollars.
After the modernization is completed, the Junda refinery will be able to start producing automotive fuel that meets the new environmental standard K5, including gasoline and diesel fuel with low sulfur content, as well as free from metal-containing additives and monomethylaniline.
