Authorities reported what became most expensive in Kyrgyzstan in February

From January to February of this year, consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan increased by 1.9% compared to December 2025. Bakytbek Shokenov, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee, announced this information at a press conference in Bishkek.

According to him, tariffs for services to the population rose by 3.6%, while prices for alcoholic and tobacco products increased by 2.2%. Food products and non-alcoholic beverages became 2.1% more expensive, and non-food goods rose by 0.4%.

The highest price increases were observed for fresh vegetables and fruits, potatoes, dairy products, cheese, eggs, sausages, canned meat, as well as lamb, beef, fish, and sugar.

The rise in prices and tariffs was recorded in all regions of the country. The largest increase (+4.2%) occurred in the Issyk-Kul region, which is associated with rising prices for alcoholic and tobacco products (by 5.8%) and an increase in service tariffs (by 12.1%). In the Osh region, the maximum price growth was observed for food products and non-alcoholic beverages (by 3.5%) and non-food goods (by 3.3%).
