Information on the timelines for lifting restrictions on other goods has not yet been provided
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has made changes to the list of petroleum products whose export outside the Eurasian Economic Union was previously prohibited. Now, the export of fuel oil and heating fuel produced at local oil refineries is allowed from the country.
At the moment, Kyrgyz authorities have not specified when exactly the restrictions will be lifted. However, they noted that the ban will be lifted "after the domestic market is saturated or common oil and petroleum product markets are formed within the EAEU".
It is also worth reminding that in early February 2026, the government of Kyrgyzstan granted permission to the Kyrgyz-Chinese oil refinery "Junda" to export K-2 class gasoline and diesel fuel outside the EAEU.
It should be noted that the ban on the export of petroleum products outside the EAEU has been in effect in Kyrgyzstan since March 2021.
