A draft resolution concerning the implementation of control over construction materials is being discussed in the Kyrgyz Republic. The initiator of this discussion is the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, which proposes mandatory marking of cement using molecular markers added to the product composition.
This document has been developed by the State Tax Service. The main goal of this initiative is to legalize the construction materials market and improve tax administration.
It is expected that the new mechanism will ensure transparency at all stages—from production and import to final sale to the consumer. If the project is approved, the system will come into effect at the beginning of summer 2026.
