The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan has received a batch of 12 drones from the Chinese company "Qyuanibao" (Hangzhou). This information was confirmed by the ministry's press service.
According to the agency's statement, the drones will be used for monitoring agricultural lands, plant protection, and for activities related to artificial precipitation generation.
The transfer of equipment is being conducted free of charge, as stated in the announcement.
During a meeting between Erlis Akunbekov, the head of the ministry, and representatives of the company, the prospects for further cooperation were discussed. In particular, the parties talked about the establishment of a center for training specialists in the use of drones and the possibilities for building a drone manufacturing plant in Kyrgyzstan.
