Currently, work is being carried out at the site to remove excess soil, dismantle existing structures, prepare concrete products, and conduct earthworks. The installation of an asphalt concrete production plant is also planned.
It is worth noting that this project is not the only one being implemented in the Issyk-Kul region. The Ministry is also reconstructing the roads leading to Kyrchyn in the Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoye gorges. Previously, both roads were gravel for most of their length, but they are promised to be paved by the time of the Nomad Games.
The total length of both roads is 34 km. Last year, asphalt was laid on a 6 km section of the Semenovka - Ak-Suu road. On the section from Grigorievka to Kol-Kashka-Suu, the foundation has been prepared and the first layer of asphalt has been laid. In 2025, blasting works were carried out, the roadway was widened, culverts were installed, and bridges were repaired. The project includes the installation of 69 culverts and repairs on five bridges, two of which have already been completed.
