At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva raised an important issue regarding the need to take into account the experience of students working in public institutions, such as schools and medical facilities.
She noted that currently many students studying for free in the fields of pedagogy and medicine are working in these institutions due to a shortage of staff. "These young specialists work under official employment contracts, they have labor books, and they fully perform their duties, providing services to the state. However, the time spent at the workplace during their studies is not counted towards the mandatory two-year service experience," Surabaldiyeva added.

The deputy considers this extremely unfair. "If a student is already officially employed in a public school or medical institution, their work experience should be taken into account. This decision could help address the staffing shortage, support young professionals, and ensure stability in this field," she concluded.
