In Bishkek, the development of youth sports was discussed with the directors of sports schools.

A working meeting took place in Bishkek, where the prospects for the development of youth sports were discussed. The event was led by Kanibek Zholchubekov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the city administration, and gathered directors of specialized youth Olympic reserve schools (SDYUSHOR). The city administration's press service reported this on January 26.

During the meeting, participants addressed important issues related to the development of both youth and professional sports in the capital. Special attention was given to planning budget expenditures, as well as organizing city, national, and international sports competitions.

Additionally, the meeting discussed ways to enhance the effectiveness of sports schools, create conditions for training highly qualified athletes, and further develop the sports reserve in Bishkek.

According to the city administration, there are currently 12 specialized youth Olympic reserve schools operating in Bishkek.
