During the meeting of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, chaired by Adylbek Kasyamaliev, head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, an important agenda was discussed. The event, dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, gathered heads of state structures and representatives of NGOs.
According to the press service of the government, Kasyamaliev expressed concern over the increasing number of persons with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan, which has reached 221,000. He also noted the strengthening state support for this category of citizens.


During the meeting, key reports were presented on state policy regarding persons with disabilities, the results of the "Accessible Country" program, the development of inclusive education, and the improvement of quality of life in the Chui region.
As a result of the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed to prepare a draft protocol decision taking into account all proposals and questions, as well as to compile a report on the implementation of the previous plan over the last two years by the next meeting. ```
